She already has so many achievements to her credit and now there is one more prestigious addition to that list as the actress is appointed as one of the jury members for the upcoming edition of International Cannes Film Festival.

With this feat, Deepika joins the illustrious list of Indian talents like Vidya Balan, Shekhar Kapur, Sharmila Tagore, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Nandita Das who have previously been a part of the jury at the prestigious film festival. The jury will award the Palme d’Or honours at the closing of the film festival that begins on May 17 and ends on May 28.
Deepika also shared this good and big news on her Instagram stories while also sharing her bio available on the festival’s official website. The actress is currently in one of the best phases in her career. Just a few months ago, she had the release of Gehraiyaan and up next, she has Pathaan, Fighter, Project K, The Intern and her second Hollywood project, a romantic comedy for STXfilms and Temple Hill, which she is also producing.
