Singer Rupali Jagga has been receiving lots of acclaim for her romantic song Tere Bin Jeena Kya from Operation Romeo. And while she has worked with some renowned names in the industry, this one by far was the best experience she has had. Recently, when I had an exclusive interview with her, Rupali spoke about the song, her journey, and lots more.

I’m really glad that I got this break. It’s a huge opportunity for me because some big people from the industry are involved in this song. MM Kreem has composed this song, he’s a legend in the industry, and every singer dreams of working with him, then Manoj Muntashir has written the lyrics for it. He is currently one of the biggest lyricists in the industry. Also, Vishal Mishra has sung this duet with me.

Yes, I am extremely grateful for this journey. Simply because there are many talented singers out there who are working extremely hard so to make a place for themself in the industry. I’m really happy that my hard work is paying off and I’m getting to sing some of the top songs. My latest songs Aajaa Bheeg Le Piyyaa and Piyaa Rangeela with Himesh Reshammiya are currently trending on Youtube. Before this, my songs like Teere Piche, Aawara Shaam Hai, Ishq Nibhava, Teri Mitti, and Majboor were also very well-received and appreciated by the music lovers.

On her wishlist of singers…
People keep telling me that I’ve worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. I recently performed with Shaan sir. But I’d really love to work with AR Rahman sir, Amit Trivedi, and many others who are doing fabulous work. I am open to working with all. That said, I don’t want to lose my grip on independent music because that’s something I really love. My independent music career has helped me a lot.
On her future projects…
There is another Punjabi single coming out soon. It’s called Jatti and you will get to hear it soon. Other than that, I have a few projects lined up but I am not at liberty to discuss them right now. Once these projects are confirmed, you will get to know about the official announcement.
