Cannes is all about high-end, luxury fashion and our Bollywood ladies really know to ace their style game. Deepika Padukone In Sabyasachi For The 75th Cannes Film Festival
Deepika stepped out in a gorgeous, black and gold sequin saree that stole the show with its shine and shimmer. She chose to don India’s favourite designer—Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Padukone styled the saree with a stunning embellished bandeau style, black blouse. The blouse was muted and allowed the sari to do the talking. The piece worn by her is the Bengal Tiger sari designed by Sabyasachi as a part of the iconic Akash Tara collection. This range especially celebrates Indian heritage and detailed Indian craftsmanship through a modernised perspective. The sari featured block-printed, shimmery stripes that match the skin colour of the royal Bengal tiger.

She completed the look with timeless jewellery pieces from Sabyasachi’s Bengal Royale collection. She added an oomph factor to the desi look with a gorgeous matha patti headpiece that pays ode to the signature, traditional Indian jewellery. She finished off the look with a stunning pair of chandelier earrings in dull gold to match her outfit. She also added a touch of glam to her hands by keeping her accessories minimal yet statement worthy. She wore a set of chunky gold rings to match her jewellery. She was styled by Shaleena Nathani and her sari was draped by Vikas Rattu. Sandhya Shekhar kept her makeup classy with bronzed cheeks, matted rosy, nude lips, and her eyes defined with a bold, black eye shadow. Yianni Tsapatori pulled her hair up into a neat top knot with the headpiece adding a dash of sparkle to the otherwise simple hairdo.
