I’m absolutely blown away with the trailer of Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey. While the posters were intriguing, the trailer raises my hopes from the film further. Kumar is playing the titular role, that of a killer who everyone is petrified of, and he insists on being called Godfather, not bhai. I agree, because he is not just a regular mafia or bhai. He has this larger-than-life aura, swag and absolutely deadly vibes. How impressive is Akshay Kumar. I’m in awe!
Kriti Sanon plays a film-maker who wants to make a film on Bachchhan Paandey’s life, and she’s accompanied by Arshad Warsi who never disappoints. The camaraderie and banter between Warsi and Sanon in the trailer itself is amazing. Jacqueline Fernandez plays Kumar’s love interest. And no, that’s not all. The film also has such amazing actors like Pankaj Tripathi and Sanjay Mishra who are also totally adding to the its USP for me. The film is directed by Farhad Samji who last directed Housefull 4.

The trailer is brimming with action, humour, swag and lots of entertainment and with that I totally hope the film to be taking it to another level. Akshay Kumar brought back the business to theatres with Sooryaanshi after a long drought period during the pandemic. Now I won’t be surprised if he’s again responsible for bringing in those big numbers and glory back to the theatres with a bang!
